Scribbled lines and empty words,
The things I do are quite absurd.
Sweet young things with hoofs and tails,
And only a few with piscine scales.

Surely, she's a one-trick pony!
With nothing more than this baloney!
At least I draw and do not write.
For that would give you quite a fright.

I plot and weave, but I declare,
My stories, it seems, will go nowhere.
I know not where I go askew,
There are better plots on Scooby-Doo!

So why this rut? I have no clue.
All I can say is there's nothing new.
What I have will have to suffice,
But an elf or a faerie would sure be nice.
