I was sitting on the floor in an empty room of which I could not see the walls. Empty, that is, except for a single cardboard box. The box was open, and inside were sections of model railroad track. The sections were large like the type used in garden layouts. I began to take the pieces out of the box when I noticed writing on the track section I was holding. It said "8:10". I looked at the other sections of track and found they also had numbers on them: "8:15", "8:20" and so on.
When all the pieces were out of the box, I began to assemble them on the floor in ascending order according to the numbers printed on them. I found they formed a large oval, but one piece was missing. The last section had "11:45" printed on it, then a gap before the track resumed again with the section beginning with "8:10". With nothing else in the room, my search options were rather limited. I looked in the box to see if I'd forgotten one, but the box was now empty. I looked un

I was amongst a group of people living and working in an undersea facility. Everything in the dream happened inside its walls. None of the dream actually had me swimming in the water. This facility, or station, was staffed almost entirely of either scientists or military personnel, but there may have been a few civilians there as well. I was the lone mermaid among them. Unlike others on the station, who normally walked around in boots and jumpsuits, I was always barefoot and wore a simple sarong. It made transitioning into a mermaid easier. The sensation of cold metal against bare flesh really didn't bother me. I guess my body was much more adaptable to the cold than human bodies were.
I'm not sure if I was "officially" part of the station's crew or not. My feeling was that I was not. I also got the distinct impression my presence within the station wasn't always appreciated. The station's commander seemed especially disdainful whenever he saw me

(A mermaid dream)
I did not know the location of the tank complex, but it seemed to have been built in an entertainment center. I saw a crowded and noisy gambling area here. I also remember seeing a rather large room full of people and monitoring equipment, but I never did learn what this room was for. There were two tanks located in the complex; a very large rectangular tank (much larger than the average neighborhood swimming pool), and a much smaller tank with a rounded, free-form shape. It had a flat wall on one side, with a large viewing window embedded in it. Impressive artificial waterfalls, and beautiful landscaping adorned both tanks. There were grandstand style seats for both tanks, but they seemed more established in the area of the smaller tank.
Most of the dream took place in and around the smaller of the two tanks. This tank resembled a theater, or show tank, more so than the larger tank, which was much more utilitarian in appearance. Near the water's edg
Mermaid DreamI was touring the Queen Mary. I knew instinctively it was this ship, yet for some reason she didn't seem as big as I remembered her being from my last visit. For some reason she wasn't berthed in Long Beach Harbor where I last saw her, either. The harbor and city were strange, and there was a huge ultramodern airport nearby like none I knew around Long Beach or anyplace else, for that matter While I strolled her decks, I walked into a shop that made objects from glass. They were not objects made in a mold, but objects made by hand from molten glass beads. The glass, in the form of a long rod, was heated to the melting point over some sort of small blow torch set at an angle on a bench. The glass was held in the flame until just before it began to drip, then it was quickly removed from the flame and held just above the piece being created where the drop fell on a very specific point. Then the whole process was repeated. It was not a process I had ever seen any glass bl
